The Charis Live and Learn Centre at Redeemer University was developed to accommodate a significant increase in student admissions. Designed as a 170-bed student residence, the centre includes a combination of two-, four-, six-, and eight-bedroom suites, each thoughtfully designed with kitchens and common spaces to foster a community-driven environment. The residence is arranged across three storeys, with a central lounge space to encourage social interaction among students.
The design of the centre centers on creating spaces that foster community and interaction. The central lounge and common areas on each floor serve as natural gathering points, allowing students to engage with one another and form connections. On the lower level, a conference/lounge area takes advantage of abundant natural light through a two-storey space that connects to the main entrance, creating an inviting atmosphere for students and visitors alike.

In addition to student residences, the Charis Live and Learn Centre houses the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which includes a makerspace to encourage hands-on learning and creative thinking. The integration of living and learning spaces creates a dynamic environment where students can thrive both academically and socially.
